Exercise: An Excellent Way to Prevent Heart Disease

Exercise and heart disease are two counteract factors. I believe you have already known that an effective exercise can reduce the risks of heart disease development. In fact, you can increase your chances against heart disease by doing only a minimum exercise. Doctors and health instructors usually ask people to do exercise or physical activities as much as possible in at least one hour daily. Yes, it sounds difficult, especially between our busy lives. However, you can reach this amount of exercise in many ways. Going to the gym is not the only way to exercise.

The best way to exercise is by walking. It is easy, cheap, and perhaps the healthiest form of exercise as well. If you change your habit from using car and just walk to your destination, it will indeed make you healthier. We should take advantage of this simple exercise whenever possible.

Studies showed that walking on the street is better than using treadmill. They found that actually walking on the street is more demanding compare with treadmill. Besides walking, other exercises also need to be considered. In short, any activity that can make you fit and healthy should be considered, even if it is perhaps cleaning your house! As I mentioned earlier, exercise and heart disease are opposite factors. Therefore, if you want to improve your heart condition, you need to exercise regularly.

Why exercise and heart disease are opposite

Some years ago, doctors usually asked heart disease patients not to do any kind of exercise. In many occasions, bed rest was considered as the best treatment for heart disease. The condition has changed recently. It is believed that a proper amount of exercise actually is the perfect strategy for patients of heart disease.

Patients with heart disease have shown remarkable improvement when they participate in some form of exercise program. Therefore, heart disease patients should not feel afraid to exercise and should use this method to improve health condition.

So what is the function of exercise related with heart disease? Studies showed that exercise helps heart disease patients because it can make the heart works better and improve the vascular function as well. In addition, exercise will develop the muscles and improve general health.

There are many benefits of exercising and therefore I always say that exercise and heart disease are counteracting. People with heart disease who want to start exercising should consult with the doctor first and find out the proper ways to exercise. Although exercise is good, if it is overly done, it can be harmful.
